Some basic concepts of didactic of measurement
Here you have some basic concepts of didactic of measurament in case you don´t know or remeber them well:

Approximation
Approximate is an estimation of a number or rounding a number to its nearest place value. Not exact, but close enough to be used. Finding a value that is close enough to the right answer, usually with some thought or calculation involved.
Capacity:
It is related to the term volume, and it ca be defined as the totalamount that can be contained or produced.
Dimension:
The measurements describing the size.
Distance:
the lenght of the segment of the line that joins them, expressed numerically.
Estimate:
Judgment of the value of the reslut of a numerical operation or of the measurement of an amount according to the individual circumstances of the one who issues it.
Geometry:
The branch of maths that deals with the measurement, propierties and relations of the points, lines, angles, surfaces, solids, and higher dimensional analogues.
Magnitude:
The importance, quallitiy, or caliber of something. Everything can be measured. For example, car, wall, wind, etc.
Measure:
A standard unit used to express the size, amount, or degree of something..
Measurement system:
the system used in the process of associating numbers with physical quantities and phonema.
Measuring instrument:
a tool used to measure a physical magnitude. For example, a clock, thermometer, etc.
Lenght:
physical magnitude that express the distance between two points.
